DIE REISIGERS (Debuut van nuwe Afrikaanse musiekvertoning deur Luna Paige):

Luna Paige sing oor die Groot Reis en die immer ontwykende Eindbestemming en verken ruimtes waar beweging, stilte van gees, selfliefde en aanvaarding harmonie bring. In Die reisigers stel sy gehore bekend aan die musiek wat sy tydens haar plaaslike en Europese reise, onder meer die Spaanse Camino, geskryf en by die huis getoonset het. As anonieme voyeur het sy soms wel in gesprek getree en saam gewonder oor die groot verskille, maar, belangriker, oor die groot ooreenkomste wat alle reisigers op hierdie wonderbaarlike planeet bind.

VELDHOSPITAAL (14-19 OCTOBER 2025), TOYOTA STELLENBOSCH WOORDFEES

For the first time Luna Paige participates in a living artwork, bringing her songs and personality to a collective gathering where the body, healing and matters of the soul are brought to the forefront. Luna Paige: “My contribution falls under the category of FEELING. I ask where that place in the body resides. Is it in the mind, the body or the soul? Perhaps it lies in the integration of these three…where is that space one wonders? I invite those wanting to explore their feelings about life, themselves and others to join me in this interactive music experience”.

FRANK OPPERMAN: OPPERMANAF

Luna Paige joins the Frank Opperman band for two performances.

Luna Paige joins musicians Mauritz Lotz (guitars), Schalk Joubert (bass) and Jonno Sweetman (drums) in the Frank Opperman Band.

She will be on backing vocals and play keys on a variety of Frank’s original songs (Afrikaans and English).

DREAMLAND / DROOMLAND (Luna Paige travels to the Netherlands for a selection of concerts):

Dreamland / Droomland is een creatie van Luna Paige, een Zuid-Afrikaanse singer-songwriter en verhalenverteller uit Kaapstad. Het vindt zijn oorsprong in literaire werken van Zuid-Afrikaanse, Nederlandse, Belgische en andere Afrikaanse schrijvers. Luna verweeft thema’s uit dat werk met haar eigen verhalen, muziek en unieke vertolkingen van traditionele volksliederen. Ze zingt over de eeuwenoude relatie van de mensheid met reizen, land, grenzen, nieuwsgierigheid, avontuur en overleven. Luna Paige begeleidt zichzelf op elektrische piano en akoestische gitaar en presenteert haar liedjes in het Engels en haar moedertaal, Afrikaans.
